I've always had a thing for chains, simply because I've always had a thing for swings. I was attracted to this image by it's simple shape & complex form -- its common material & rusted texture. The image speaks of age & experience, strength & fortitude, complications & solutions. This piece is appealing because it makes me feel, makes me wonder, & has me anticipating every possibility of its intended audience & meaning. Very rarely are all my emotions exploded across a piece of art in this particular way. I truly appreciate everything about this piece, down to its title, allowing it its true anonymity & freedom to represent whatever emotion the viewer happens to be feeling. A beautiful piece in which all my appreciation is invested!
